World Aids Day, December 1, 2014
Ceremony at 6pm at Faces with tiny
led lights held by a room full of men,
women, HIV positive,negative, folks.
One pos man ,Lou, spoke who had a diagnosis
in 1986, developed full blown AIDS in
1993 and has survived. However life
has been hell with KS lesions, and
compromises to nearly every organ
and system of his body.
There is no cure for HIV. There is
no vaccine for it either.
Many of those under 30 think 'Well,
if I get it I'll just take the pills. Wrong!
The crowd cheered when the words
"Let's have a goal to have a generation
free of AIDS."
